Basic Set

The Carrera Digital 132 basic set, also called “Best of Racing” includes:

8 curves (radius 1), 7 straights, 2 quarter straights, 1 crossover and the Control Unit.

Two Basic Sets

Buying two sets gives you more cars, extra controllers and track pieces. This can be more affordable than buying separate parts to extend the system. 

Two basic sets include:

16 curves (radius 1), 14 straights, 4 quarter straights, 2 crossovers and two Control Units.

Note that you can only use one Control Unit at the time, but it is nice to have one as backup or for a future digital/analog “dual use” conversion project.
